Murder charge over Boxing Day body

Police discovered the body on waste ground
A man is due in court accused of the murder of Derek Andrews, whose body was found on waste land in Hertfordshire on Boxing Day.

Mr Andrews, 33, was reported missing from his home in Luton, Hertfordshire, at the end of November.

His body was discovered on wasteland between the River Gade and Grand Union Canal in Croxley Green in Watford at 1320 GMT on Boxing Day.

Stewart Steele, 38, of Carmelite Road, Harrow Weald, North London, was arrested in Wales on Monday.

He is due to appear before Watford magistrates on Wednesday.
