Your comments on Fake Cash
Thank you for all your e-mails, here is a selection of your comments on Crooked Britain: Fake Cash.

Why can't this country get really tough on all crime, ie 20 years minumum for burglary, robbery, counterfeiting currency etc. It should be longer for more serious crimes, in fact any pre meditated felony, as they are not mistakes. Clear the streets of rubbish, I would happily pay more tax for extra jails and prison officer salaries, it would be money well spent.
K.Thomas, Gaerwen, N.Wales

A friend of mine received forged notes from a bank - but these are the people that are supposed to take them out of circulation! My friend did not realise at the time and was only spotted when he tried to spend it in a clothes shop.
Chris Horton, Chatham

I found the programme very interesting and enjoyed it - as usual.

I could do with some more information about the identification of a forged banknote of any denomination.

Being a hotelier I am on the front line and any help would be greately appreciated.

Thanks
Gordon Harrison, Selkirk

Excellent undercover investigation - spoiled by the inebriated cameraman with the ichy zoom finger during the interviews. The camera is the medium which should be transparent in a documentary situation and not to detract or distract from the information.
M Gentle, London
