In pictures: Ivory Coast protests
Supporters of President Laurent Gbagbo in Ivory Coast have been protesting for four days against the French-brokered peace accord which put an end to four months of civil war.
Anti-French protests have given way to pro-US ones, as Washington is asked to intervene
However, the US is unlikely to come out against the peace accord
Protesters insist they do not want rebels in the government
Instead, Mr Gbagbo's supporters want him to retain his powers
As violence continued, security was increased at the French embassy
