Man jailed for sex with teenager
Swindon Crown Court
The court heard that Kelly was friends with the girl's mother
A Wiltshire man has been jailed for having sex with a teenager.

Francis Kelly, 48, from Swindon, was jailed for three years following a year-long relationship with a 14-year-old girl.

Kelly, from Blandford Court in Park South, admitted three offences of unlawful sexual intercourse and three offences of gross indecency.

The offences took place between December 2001 and October 2002.

During the trial the court heard that Kelly and his partner had been friends with the girl's mother for years, and that he was entrusted to care for her at home.

Kelly will be placed on the sex offenders' register for the rest of his life.

The prosecution told the court that the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is still awaiting counselling from the NSPCC.
