Man hurt in two-car smash
Sussex Police
Police are seeking witnesses to the crash
A man has been seriously injured in a road accident in Sussex.

Sussex Police have appealed for witnesses following the crash in Langhurstwood Road, Horsham, on Monday evening.

A 41-year-old man from the Burgess Hill area suffered serious injuries and was being treated at the Princess Royal Hospital, in Haywards Heath, on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred approximately 200 metres north of a junction with the A264, as the man travelled south in a Toyota Celica.

The car was in collision with a Ford Mondeo travelling in the opposite direction, driven by a 34-year-old man from Lancing.

He was slightly hurt.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw the accident to contact them.
