Collection of guns
A man was shot in his own home
A Huddersfield man is in hospital after being shot at his flat in the Milsnbridge area of the town.

The 22-year-old man answered a knock at the door of his flat in Market Street just after 2000 GMT Monday when he was confronted by two masked men who forced their way inside.

There was a struggle and victim said he felt a searing pain in the back as a number of shots were fired.

The two raiders ran off and the victim was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary by a friend.

He is now in a stable condition.

Police are hunting two Asian men, both wearing masks - one about 5ft 6in the other, who had the gun, 6ft 5in tall.
