Iraq's time running out, US says
Weapons inspectors have been intimidated
The Iraqi deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz has promised Baghdad will be more co-operative with UN weapons inspectors in future.
But he also did not rule out launching an attack on Kuwait, if it is used as a base for US operations against Iraq. He spoke after the UN's chief weapons inspector Hans Blix, reported his findings to the Security Council. Meanwhile, President Bush hopes to persuade Americans to back a war, in his State of the Union" speech tonight.
