Man faces two murder charges
Linda Wardill
The body of Ms Wardill was found in December
A man has appeared in court charged with the murders of two Bridlington women who died 13 years apart.

Peter Allan Foster, 46, of Albion Terrace, Bridlington, is accused of murdering Linda Wardill and Linda Grimm.

He appeared before Bridlington magistrates on Tuesday.

The body of Ms Wardill, 45, was found in a flat in Albion Terrace last December.

Linda Grimm, 38, died in the town in July 1989, and at the time, her death was not thought to be suspicious.

Foster was remanded in custody to appear before Hull Crown Court on 5 February.
