The injured man is still very poorly in hospital
A man is due in court on Tuesday accused of attacking a man outside a Greater Manchester nightclub and leaving him in a coma.

Andrew Reddicen, 21, of Toxteth Street, Openshaw, Manchester, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is alleged to have attacked a 26-year-old man in St Michael's Square, Ashton-under-Lyne, outside the Love Shack nightclub in the early hours of Monday.

The injured man, from Tameside, is described as very poorly by doctors at Salford's Hope Hospital.

Mr Reddicen will appear before Tameside Magistrates.
