Residents warned over knife attacks
Police
The student was stabbed on Downend Road
Police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for a series of attacks in Bristol over the weekend.

A 20-year-old student was stabbed in the heart on Saturday night after being ordered to hand over his wallet.

His condition is described as stable.

The attack followed the stabbing of a nurse, who was wounded in the neck two hours earlier.

In both cases, the knifeman was in his late teens, black and skinny.

There were six similar incidents on Friday night.
