Play highlights search for Dan
Daniel Nolan
Dan's disappeared more than a year ago
A play about the disappearance of teenager who vanished while on a New Year's Day fishing trip is going nationwide.

The script for Dan Nolan: Missing - written by a Southampton teacher and originally performed by his pupils - is being judged in the National Student Drama Festival 2003.

It is also being made available for schools across the country to buy in and perform.

The play was written to give more publicity to the disappearance of 15-year-old Daniel Nolan from Hamble, in Hampshire.

It was written by playwright Mark Wheeller, who teaches at Oaklands Community School in Lordshill.

Its popularity has meant there will now be two more performances at the school over the weekend of 24 and 25 January.

Despite extensive searches and appeals by his parents, Pauline and Greg, since he went missing more than a year ago, Daniel's fate has never been established.
