No other vehicles were involved in the crash
A lorry driver has been killed in a crash on the M6 in the Black Country.

His truck, which was travelling southbound, hit the central reservation at junction 8 near the RAC control centre, shortly after 0500 GMT on Sunday.

The lorry, which was carrying toilet rolls, was the only vehicle involved in the incident.

The southbound stretch of the road was closed while police tried to establish the cause of the crash.

The northbound carriageway has been reopened.
