Take your horse on holiday
Horses
Horses will be catered for as well as their owners
Horse-owning visitors to Cornwall will soon be able to bring their equine companions with them.

A farm at Redmoor, near Bodmin, will be able to cater for them when a scheme to convert redundant farm buildings into a stable block is complete.

When the work is done Chark Farm will also provide holiday accommodation for disabled as well as able-bodied guests, as well as four horses.

Work has already started to convert the first barn.

Single unit

A second disused farm building will be converted to meet guidelines set out by the National Accessible Standards for mobility impairment.

The former cow house will be transformed into a single unit able to accommodate two disabled guests.

The £315,000 project has been aided by £78,955 of Objective One funding.

The first guests will be able to sample the facilities from July.
