Man charged over baby death
The charged man is from Buxton
Detectives have charged a man with the murder of a three-month-old girl.
The 30-year-old man, from the Buxton area of Derbyshire, was arrested on Tuesday after the child was taken to hospital with serious injuries. She was first taken to Stepping Hill Hospital, in Stockport before being transferred to Pendlebury Hospital in Manchester where she later died. The man, who has not been named, is due to appear at Chesterfield Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
