Stationery shop fined in blades row
Stanley knife
Staff at the shop have been prosecuted before
A stationery shop which sold knife blades to a teenage boy has been fined.

The Swindon branch of Office World has been fined over £5,000 for selling blades to the 13-year-old.

Swindon magistrates were told the store was caught during an undercover trading standards operation last year.

It is the second time staff have been found guilty of selling offensive weapons to someone underage.

In November, the company was fined nearly £2,500 for a similar offence.
