Indian runner cleared of doping
The Indian Asian Games gold medallist, Sunita Rani, has been given her medals back, after sports officials admitted she was incorrectly given a positive result in a drugs test in South Korea in October.

The Olympic Council of Asia announced in Kuwait that the middle-distance runner was cleared of all charges because of a serious discrepancy in the original test carried out on her in Seoul.

Sunita Rani, who has always strongly protested her innocence, won a gold medal in the 1,500 metres, and a bronze medal in the 5,000 metres race.
