Arrests
Armed police
We found out what we could about the discovery that a group of men of North African origin had been arrested in North London in possession of a quantity of the biological warfare agent, ricin.

PM's Speech
We also examined the Prime Minister's speech to UK ambassadors. He said that he could influence the US to be a force for good in the world. We spoke to, among others, the Defence Secretary.

US Economy
Also, in the US, Blair's friend George Bush was laying out details of a package of tax cuts adding up to $600bn. Who's going to benefit, and will the measures be enough to re-energise the world's biggest economy, with all that means for the rest of us?

End of Fast Food?
And we asked whether the end was in sight for fast-food. An animal rights group launched a global campaign against KFC (once known as Col Sander's Kentucky Fried Chicken). The golden arches of McDonalds are sagging decidedly these days, with branches being closed. So, is the world turning away from fast-food?
