Murder police given more time
Ian Bourne
Ian Bourne died as a result of a stab wound
Police are continuing to question a woman over the murder of a man who was stabbed in his home.

Officers found Ian Robert Bourne, 25, suffering from a severe wound at his home in Raynard Street, Spilsby, Lincolnshire, at about 2030 GMT on Sunday.

An ambulance took him to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital where he died early on Monday morning.

Police have been granted extra time to question a 33-year-old woman who was arrested on Sunday after Mr Bourne was found.

On Tuesday morning, Skegness magistrates granted officers at Boston police station a further 29 hours to question her which will expire at about 1630 GMT on Wednesday.

A post mortem examination by Home Office pathologist Professor Guy Rutty showed the stab wound was the cause of death.
