Thieves steal 'killer' drugs
Pills
The horse drugs are potentially lethal to humans
A group of thieves may be putting their lives in danger after stealing potentially lethal drugs used for treating horses.

Police alerted hospitals after the gang made off with five vials of somolose, a drug used to put the animals down.

They are concerned the thieves, who also stole five vials of valium from a vet's car in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, could be putting themselves or others at risk.

A spokesman for Hampshire police said: "The drugs stolen are very dangerous and could prove lethal if taken by humans.

"Local hospitals have been advised of the danger."

The thieves broke into the Fiat Stilo on Monday and also stole a silver bracelet, £25 from a locked cash box and a number of personal items.
