Mexico bus crash leaves 18 dead
A bus has plunged off a mountain road in Mexico killing at least 18 people and injuring 22.

The bus was travelling between the towns of Tlaltenango and Jalpa, in the state of Zacatecas, when it toppled into a steep valley while trying to negotiate a sharp bend.

Police and soldiers were sent to the crash site to help with the rescue effort.

State Governor Ricardo Monreal, who was in Mexico City meeting President Vicente Fox, sent his private helicopter to airlift the injured to hospital.
