Police appeal after man stabbed
Bristol Royal Infirmary
The man is recovering at Bristol Royal Infirmary
A 34-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach in a Bristol street.

The man, who has not been named, was found seriously injured in Grosvenor Road, St Pauls, at 0020 GMT on Monday.

He was taken to the Bristol Royal Infimary where he underwent emergency surgery.

A police spokeswoman said: "A member of the public found the man who had suffered serious stomach injuries.

"Following an operation he is said to be in a stable condition."

Police investigating the incident have appealed for witnesses to contact them or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
