A post mortem examination is due to be carried out later on Monday.

Police say they think the man may be from the Dunkirk area.

They are appealing for help in identifying the man and say no-one so far has been reported missing.

The man is described as white, aged between 50 to 60, around 5ft 9in tall and of proportionate build with grey hair and bald on top.
