Body parts suspect remanded
Anthony Hardy
Anthony Hardy has been charged with three murders
An unemployed man has been remanded in custody by magistrates charged with three murders following the discovery of human remains in bins in north London.

Anthony Hardy, 51, appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court as the name of a third victim was revealed.

Bridgette Cathy MacClennan, 34, was originally from New Zealand but had been living in London.

Mr Hardy of Royal College Street, Camden, north London has been charged with the murders of Sally Rose White, Elizabeth Selina Valad and Bridgette MacClennan.

January death

Remains of Ms Valad, 29, from Nottingham, and Ms MacClennan, who was identified through her DNA, were discovered at a flat in Camden and in nearby bins last Monday.

Ms Valad was only identified by her breast implants as her head and hands are still missing.

Ms White died in January last year.

Another woman who police had been concerned about has turned up safe and well.

Kelly Anne Nicol, 24, originally of Falkirk in Scotland, had been urged by police to get in touch.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said they were now aware of her whereabouts.
