Family escape gas blast
A family have escaped serious injury after a gas explosion in their home at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

Windows of the house in Charles Gardens were blown out in the blast on Sunday night.

The explosion caused extensive damage to the property.

A 24-year-old man suffered burns and was treated in hospital before being released.

His parents were not injured.

An investigation into the cause has been launched.
