Police continue to question murder suspect
Police tape
The bodies were found in a Hampshire village
Detectives have until 2200 GMT on Sunday to question a 24-year-old man about the death of two women in Hampshire.

The bodies of Elizabeth Francis, 84, and her daughter 54-year-old Teresa were discovered at Wykeham House in Ropley on Thursday night.

The results of post-mortem examinations on the two women showed they died from multiple head injuries.

The man being questioned by detectives presented himself to police in Southampton and was then arrested on suspicion of the murder of the two women.

Police have sealed off the detached house in the village while scene of crime officers conduct a search.

Elizabeth Francis was the widow of the fishing author John Francis who died last year.

Her daughter Teresa lived in Alresford, a few miles from Ropley.
