Police worried for missing student

Victoria Stephenson was last seen leaving her campus

Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a 19-year-old student who has gone missing in Manchester.

Victoria Stephenson was last seen at about 1230 GMT on Tuesday near the Manchester Metropolitan University campus in Didsbury.

She had gone to get a bus into the city centre but failed to meet her friend at 1600 GMT.

She also did not return back to her halls of residence in Longsight in the evening.

Vicky, who is from London, is white, 5ft tall, of medium build with short brown hair cut in a bob.

She has a southern accent and was last seen wearing jeans and a knee-length maroon leather jacket.
