Germany seeks new 'cannibal' victims
The victim reportedly responded to an internet advert
Police in Kassel, western Germany, are looking for possible further victims of an alleged murderer and cannibal who advertised via the internet for a well-built man prepared to be eaten and killed.
It is alleged that he later carved the victim up and froze his remaining body parts to eat later. Police arrested the man in the town of Kassel, after he posted an internet advertisement seeking another male volunteer to satisfy his appetites. The more sensational German newspapers are packed with lurid details. They say the events stem from cannibalistic and homosexual tendencies shared by the alleged murderer and his victim. The prosecutors in the case say the 41-year-old computer technician, who has confessed to the crime, is not being treated as insane.
