Four arrests after car death

Forensic experts are now examining the car
Police investigating an incident in Leeds in which a man died after he was hit by a car which failed to stop have made four arrests.

David Gellan, 21, died in Leeds General Infirmary on Wednesday.

He was in collision with a BMW on Sutherland Avenue in Roundhay.

Police said that minutes before the incident a brawl had taken place outside the Streets of Leeds pub in nearby Street Lane.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, and two teenage girls have been arrested.
