The crashed vehicles
The two cars crashed head-on
An East Yorkshire village is mourning the deaths of three members of one family who died in a road accident.

Yvonne Finney, 26, and her children Christopher, one, and four-year-old Clayton were killed when their Ford Orion was involved in a collision with a Toyota Landcruiser.

The incident happened on the B1253 near Bridlington on Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs Finney's husband, also called Christopher, and their daughter Blair were hurt.

The three-year-old girl is in a stable condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The family are from Burton Fleming.

The driver of the Landcruiser, a 50-year-old man from Bridlington, suffered chest and knee injuries and was detained in hospital.
