Man questioned after woman's death
A post-mortem has been carried out
A murder investigation has been launched in Bridlington after a woman's body was found in a flat in the town.
Linda Wardhill, 45, was found in the flat in Albion Terrace at 1800 GMT on Wednesday by an ambulance crew who had been called to the scene. A 46-year-old local man has been arrested and is being questioned at Bridlington police station. Detectives say a post-mortem examination has shown Ms Wardhill died as the result of an assault.
