Girl's life in danger after fatal crash

A three-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital following a road accident which left a woman and two children dead near Bridlington on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old woman and her two sons, aged one and four, were killed when their Ford Orion was involved in a head on crash with a Toyota Landcruiser.

The accident happened on the B1253 between Boynton and Rudston at 1520 GMT.

The 30-year-old male driver of the Orion and the driver of the Toyota, also a man, are recovering in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses.
