Police are investigating loyalist paramilitaries
Police investigating the criminal activities of loyalist paramilitaries in the north west of Northern Ireland arrested seven men.

Four men were arrested in the Waterside area of Londonderry on Wednesday while one was detained in Coleraine.

The two others were arrested in Ballymoney and Antrim.

A spokesman for the police service said the men were being questioned as part of an ongoing investigation into the criminal activities of loyalist paramilitaries.

Meanwhile, another four men arrested in Larne, County Antrim, are being questioned by police investigating alleged intimidation by loyalist paramilitaries.
