Four Jet2 Boeings will be based at the airport
Tickets have gone on sale for a new operator out of Leeds Bradford International Airport.

Jet2 starts flying to a number of European destinations on 12 February.

Its lowest fare on offer is £15 for a one-way ticket to Amsterdam.

Sales are being handled through its website and a new call centre the company has opened in Skipton which has created 50 jobs.

Destinations include Barcelona, Malaga, Majorca, Nice and Milan.

Jet2 will have four Boeing 737 aircraft based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Chief executive Philip Meeson claims the fares he has announced are some of the cheapest in the country.

"During the year we will be refreshing our very low fares as we come out with new offers," he said.
