Grenade wounds Kashmir civilians
Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say 26 civilians have been wounded in a grenade explosion in the southern district of Pulwama.

They said suspected militants threw the grenade at a patrol of the paramilitary Border Security Force but it missed its intended target, injuring passers-by.

No militant group has said it carried out the attack.

Elsewhere in the state, six militants were killed in separate clashes with the Indian security forces.

The biggest of the clashes took place in Kukernag, about 70 kilometres from Srinagar, on Tuesday; three militants were killed.
