Warrant in Schiffer harassment case
Claudia Schiffer
Claudia Schiffer owns a home in Suffolk
An arrest warrant has been issued for a Suffolk man accused of harassing the German supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

Agostino Pomata, a Bury St Edmunds chef, failed to appear at the town's magistrates' court on Tuesday morning.

The 33-year-old is accused of visiting the home of the pregnant German supermodel on three occasions between 4 and 11 November.

Ms Schiffer, who is married to film producer Matthew Vaughan, owns Coldham Hall at Lawshall in Suffolk.

Ms Schiffer, 31, is not thought to have been at the house at the time of Mr Pomata's alleged visits.

Mr Pomata's solicitor, Claire Lockwood, told the court she did not know where her client was.

Jane Heard, chairman of the bench, issued a warrant for his arrest.
