Talks on Afghan refugee repatriation
Afghanistan's Minister for Refugees, Inayatullah Nazari, has arrived in Pakistan to discuss the repatriation of more than a million Afghans living there.

On Wednesday, Mr Nazari is due to meet representatives of the refugees at a camp near Peshawar, as well as regional and United Nations officials.

Many of the Afghans living in Pakistan were among the estimated three million who crossed the border in the 1980s to escape the Soviet occupation.

Although many have returned, about a million-and-a-half refugees have yet to go home.

The two countries agreed to a UN-backed deal in October to ensure their voluntary return.
