In pictures: Riot police face the flames
Police officers from Derbyshire and Lincolnshire forces have been testing the latest in riot safety gear.

Officers donned the new fire resistant suits and allowed colleagues to throw petrol bombs at them to test their effectiveness.

Inspector Stephen Fairbrother, from Derbyshire Police, said: "We need to make sure our officers get the best protection they can."
