Family suicide over Aids
Police in India say seven members of the same family have committed suicide after the head of the household was diagnosed HIV-positive.

Relatives said they were unable to afford to pay for the man's treatment.

The seven bodies, including those of five children, were found in a reservoir in the village of Bikaner in the western state of Rajasthan.

Campaigners aiming to raise awareness of Aids in India say many people who are HIV-positive refuse to come forward because of the social stigma involved.
