Police are searching for armed raiders
Four armed robbers, who have been stealing cars and raiding post offices across the West Midlands, are being hunted by police.

A driver was attacked as he parked his black Porsche 911 Carrera in Hockley Heath, West Midlands.

The gang also stole a red Seat Leon Cupra from Shirley and raided a post office in Warwickshire.

A substantial reward is being offered by police in Solihull and Coventry for information leading to their arrest.

The victim was obviously terrified

Detective Sergeant Jayne White, Solihull police

The driver of the Porsche had just got out of the car in School Lane, Hockley Heath, when he was approached by the four men on 21 November.

One pointed a gun at his head and demanded the keys to his sports car, while another threatened him with a claw hammer.

All the men wore hoods and had scarves pulled over their faces.

Security guard

Detective Sergeant Jayne White from Solihull police said: "The victim was obviously terrified and handed over the keys to his car, worth £65,000, and two men got into it and drove it away.

"The other two followed in the stolen red Seat Leon Cupra."

The gang are also thought to be responsible for an attempted armed robbery at the King Edward Road post office in Coventry on 23 November.

Police believe they struck later the same day at the post office in Kersley, near Bedworth in Warwickshire, where a security guard had a gun held to his head.

The gang escaped with a large amount of cash.

The men drove off in the stolen Seat Leon.
