Sheffield man crushed to death
A Sheffield man has been crushed to death as he was loading a skip onto a lorry.
The 50-year-old man was working in Vicarage Lane, a small street off College Street in Rotherham. The accident happened at 1510 GMT on Thursday. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed. Police say it is unclear exactly how the accident happened but during the loading process the lorry apparently moved and pinned the man against a building. A police spokeswoman said: "Officers believe shoppers may have witnessed the accident and would urge them to come forward."
