Cashier threatened with gun
Police tape
An armed raider hit the shop assistant with a gun
A woman has been threatened with a ball bearing gun during a robbery at a store in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

It happened at Drayton Stores on Drayton Road at 1935 GMT on Wednesday.

The assistant recognised the weapon as a ball bearing gun and refused to hand over money.

The man then struck her on the left hand and pulled the till to the floor before taking £400 in notes.

He walked out and got on a black bike and rode off in the direction of Coalpit fields.

He is described as white, in his early 20s, of slim build, wearing a black balaclava, a dark blue padded jacket and blue jeans.

There were no customers inside the shop at the time.

The cashier suffered a cut to her hand.
