Pensioner died after burglary
Bedfordshire Police HQ
Police have set up an incident room
Police are examining whether the death of a 92-year-old woman could be connected with a burglary at her Bedford home.

The body of Adeline Hussey was found in an open doorway at the flat at Christie House on Newnham Road on Wednesday.

Officers subsequently discovered signs of a recent burglary.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later on Thursday.

Detective Superintendent Nicky Dahl is appealing for anyone who may have seen Mrs Hussey before her death to come forward.
