Man tries to grab teenage girl
E-fit of indecent exposure suspect
Police say he may have targeted other women

Police have released an e-fit of a man who tried to grab a teenager as he exposed himself.

The 17-year-old was walking along the Blackley New Road, near Middleton Road in Blackley, Greater Manchester, when she saw the man in a wooded area at the side of the road.

He tried to grab the girl, but she ran away.

She stopped a female passer-by, who took her to her house to call police.

Hooded coat

The man was mixed race, medium build, about 5ft 8ins tall and was aged in his early 20s with very short hair.

He was wearing a long black hooded coat.

Detective Sergeant Dave Lee, from Collyhurst CID, said: "Although the man was unsuccessful in trying to grab the girl, he may attempt it again, and it is vital that anyone who can help identify him comes forward.

"There is also the possibility that this man may have flashed at other women.

"But they haven't come forward because they didn't think it was important."

Anyone with information is urged to contact police, or Crimestoppers.
