Turkey has called on the Swiss government to prevent a Swiss cable network from carrying a London-based Kurdish satellite television channel.
The move follows a decision by the cable company Basle Cable Newtork to replace the Turkish state-run channel with the Kurdish television, Med TV.
The company says the change was due to popular demand.
Turkey says the Kurdish channel is a propaganda mouthpiece for the outlawed Kurdish separatist organisation, the PKK.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry said the government was seeking a solution.
