A railway strike in Hungary has continued into a third day, despite a decision by some strikers to suspend their action because of the sudden death of the head of the state railway company Istvan Sipos.
Leaders of the Free Trade Union of Railway Employees which is demanding a twenty-one percent pay increase have been meeting to consider their next moves.
Disruption has mostly been in the east and north-east, with some international connections affected.
