Some flight attendants at the Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific have begun wearing badges to protest against plans to introduce new conditions.

Union leaders say the next step could be a campaign to stop smiling at passengers for an-hour each flight as a sign of their discontent.

The union says this would be a way of expressing their feelings without resorting to strike action.
