Two men charged in stabbing case
The stabbing happened at Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quay
Two men have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a father in front of his teenage daughter and her friends.
The 49-year-old was stabbed just outside Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays on Sunday evening as he picked up the girls after a night out. Andrew Kenneth Osborne, 28, of Forton Road, Gosport, Hampshire, has been charged with attempted murder and affray. Adam Michael Foster, 19, of High Street, Gosport, has been charged with aiding and abetting the attempted murder and affray. Mr Osborne has been remanded in custody and will appear before Portsmouth magistrates on Wednesday. Mr Foster has been bailed to appear in court on Friday, 22 November. The victim of the attack, who comes from Fareham, was said to be in a "stable" condition in the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.
