In Britain it's been reported that the Queen's youngest son, Prince Edward, is to marry his long-time girlfriend, Sophie Rhys-Jones.

The popular daily THE SUN said the couple would announce their engagement later today and would marry in Westminster Abbey in London this summer.

Buckingham Palace has refused to comment on the report.

Prince Edward, who works in the theatre and broadcasting, has been linked with Miss Rhys-Jones, a public relations executive, for some five years and there has been frequent speculation that they would marry.
