Reports in the Chinese media say the new force, which numbers six thousand officers, will try and stop the flood of cheap imports that are undercutting Chinese-produced goods. Correspondent say smuggling has increased over the past year, as other Asian currencies have lost value against the Chinese yuan, making foreign goods even cheaper.
