Girl fights off woodland attacker
Police cordon
Police are investigating the incident
A 15-year-old girl has been attacked as she walked along a wooded footpath on her way home from school.

The girl was grabbed by a man on a narrow path in Horsell, near Woking in Surrey on Tuesday morning.

Her attacker fled after she fought him off by kicking him.

The girl had been excused from school on Tuesday morning because of illness.

Surrey Police do not believe this incident is linked to the string of attacks by a serial rapist who has attacked 10 victims in the past 12 months in the south-east of England.
